Individual lessons may give you a deeper understanding of these specific art forms and how they have influenced Italian culture and society.
Do you want to improve our language by immersing yourself in Italian culture?
- From Byzantine Art to Neoclassicism; the High Renaissance: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raffaello; Venetian Art from Bellini to Canaletto; the Florentine 15th Century; and Rome from Ancient Times to the 18th Century are all covered in the History of Art course.
- Dante, the Inferno; the Birth of Poetry; Petrarch’s Canzoniere; Manzoni’s Promessi Sposi; Romantic Poetry: Foscolo and Leopardi; the 20th Century Novel; Sicilian writers of the 19th and 20th Centuries are examples of Italian Literature Topics with related reading material.
- The History Course covers topics ranging from Italian unification to Fascism, and from WWII to the present.
Our Culture Courses typically last two weeks and are held in the early afternoon.
