Italian is the language of Gioachino Rossini, Vincenzo Bellini, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, and many of the world’s greatest composers.
Our specialized course offers an in-depth exploration of the Italian language for opera. It focuses on grammar and syntax, pronunciation and diction, and prepares students to fully understand an operatic libretto through the analysis of historical language, poetic structures, stylistic features, and the musicality of the text.
Singing lessons – covering vocal technique, interpretation, and style – are taught by highly experienced Italian singing teachers and professional opera singers. These lessons allow you to apply what you learn in class directly to the role you wish to perform.
Group Italian language lessons take place in the mornings, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Diction and singing lessons are held in the afternoons.

Best experience ever. Got in touch with the school, got immediate advice on what to do and which course to book. Very prompt and professional. Arriving in Rome, I had a swift test to determine my level and then started my 2 week course to brush up my Italian. All very well organised, high standard of teaching. But because they are smaller, it is all very “boutique” and friendly and almost like you’re in a big family. Admin great, teachers great, atmosphere great. Can only recommend this school. 5 out of 5.
