School closure dates for 2025

The Dante Alighieri Italian Language Center will be closed on the following national holidays:

New Year’s Day,1st January
the Epiphany, 6th January
Easter Monday (following Easter Sunday), 1st April
Anniversary of the Liberation, 25th April
May Day, 1st May
Anniversary of the Republic, 2nd June

St. Peter and Paul, 29th June
the Assumption, 15th August
All Saints, 1st November
Immaculate Conception, 8th December
Christmas Day, 25th December *
Boxing Day, 26th December.

Our School in Rome will be open all the other days of the year, including during the summer period.

* at Christmas time will be closed starting from a few days before Christmas eve up to and including 6th January.

Calendar 2026

Are you already familiar with the basics of the Italian language?

A student with a basic knowledge of Italian can start courses on any Monday (in 2026 Mondays April 27 and June 29 are NOT available for GROUP courses). Courses for complete beginners run on the dates listed below and the student should choose from the following:

JANUARY – from January 7 to 30 (Saturday 10 and 17 included)
FEBRUARY – from February 2 to 27
MARCH – from March 2 to 27
APRIL – from March 30 to April 24 (Saturday 11 included)
MAY – from May 4 to 29 J
JUNE – from June 3 to 26 (Saturday 6 and 13 included)

JULY – from July 6 to 31
AUGUST – from August 3 to 28
SEPTEMBER – from August 31 to September 25
OCTOBER – from September 28 to October 23
NOVEMBER – from October 26 to November 20
DECEMBER – from November 23 to December 18 (Saturday Nov 28 and Dec 12 included)
